What you should include when writing your website text
Your focus keywords and phrases
High-quality content that incorporates relevant search terms and focus keyphrases is essential for effective SEO. No one understands your business better than you, so it’s important to step into the shoes of your customers. Think about the specific words and phrases they might use when searching for services or products you offer. These terms should be woven into your website’s copy, including page titles and overall site content.
We recommend featuring the most important keywords on your homepage, typically in a brief summary of what your business is about—either in a paragraph or a set of bullet points. This helps clarify your services to both users and search engines.
Additionally, we advise aiming for at least 300 words per page. The content should strategically include focus keyphrases and meta descriptions, which can be optimized using the Yoast SEO plugin before launching your site. By doing so, you’ll improve your site’s visibility and boost its chances of ranking higher organically on Google.
Location specific keywords and phrases
If your business is location-dependent and relies on local trade, rather than being an online-only company, including your location and address is crucial for attracting nearby customers. By mentioning both your services and geographic area, you increase your visibility to potential clients in your local community and surrounding areas. For example: “ABC Company is a garden centre in Lasham, near Alton, Hampshire” or “ABC Company offers call-out plumbing services in Basingstoke, Hampshire.”
Keep in mind, though, that it can take up to six weeks for Google to crawl your website and update your search results. While we can’t guarantee your position in search rankings, factors like local competition and the services you offer will play a significant role.

What we will do to help your website SEO
Our standard procedure
Focus key phrase, SEO title & Meta Description
Where appropriate, we will incorporate your specified focus key phrases, titles, and meta descriptions into the relevant pages of your website. The focus key phrase itself won’t be visible to visitors, but it will be detected by search engines as they crawl your site for valuable content. The SEO title will appear in the title tag at the top of each page and in the corresponding Google search result. Additionally, we will submit your XML sitemap to Google to help ensure all pages are indexed correctly.
Internal page linking
We recommend adding internal links between pages on your website where relevant. For instance, if you have a ‘Services’ page, you might consider linking to a ‘Testimonials’ or ‘Customer Reviews’ page. These internal links not only improve navigation for users but also boost your SEO by helping search engines understand the structure of your site and the relationships between pages.
External page links
Social network links
