Technical Account Manager – Office based  (NOT WORK FROM HOME)

The PD Group has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join their Admin team. We work in the creative sector, producing design, print and websites for clients large and small. This is a permanent full-time position that will suit an individual with experience with the technical aspects of IT solutions and administration duties, who enjoys working within a team and is looking to develop their skills further.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of the client relationship, ensuring that client’s needs are met efficiently and effectively. Experience in setting up and managing client email accounts and website domains, with good communication skills to enable a smooth process between client and the design studio is essential.

You will also be assisting existing Admin staff with the day to day running of the office, answering the phone and helping with client enquiries.

Hours – 9.00am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday (we can be flexible with the hours to suit the right applicant).

Location – South Warnborough, Hook, Hampshire RG29 1RT with very limited public transport. You will ideally need to drive.

Pay – Dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Setting up new client website domains on our servers
  2. Assisting clients setting up new Microsoft Office 365 accounts, including emails
  3. Managing existing client accounts with new jobs, from digital to print
  4. Creating client quotes for new work
  5. Liaising with the studio staff on new jobs
  6. Managing and updating job booking spreadsheets
  7. Phone calls to and from clients
  8. Assisting with the day to day running of the office
  9. Drafting and sending emails
  10. Processing documents

Requirements

  1. Good communication skills – email and telephone
  2. Excellent ICT (Information and Communication Technology) knowledge
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially Outlook, Excel & Word)
  4. Good knowledge of Microsoft admin centre
  5. Experience purchasing website domains and setting up studio/client access useful
  6. Experience using Zero accountancy software useful
  7. Organised and reliable
